As the Art Teacher of Notre Dame High School it's my mission to build self-confidence and

self-discipline in my students.  Students are taught to think creatively and learn to problem solve while developing skills to articulate a vision.

Students in grades 7, 8 and 9 develop skills needed to analyze and interpret the social and cultural influences in art as well as the expressive, technical and formal properties of art.

 

Students who choose to continue with their arts education at Notre Dame learn to advance their skills and techniques in various drawing and painting topics and media while finding their artistic voice.
